I gave this talk in the 2007 seminar series at the institute for informatics and mathematical modelling. The topic of the series was "alternative norms", and this talk focuses on the homotopy algorithm, which can be used to compute the entire path of solutions to a underdetermined, L-1 regularized set of equations. In the talk I illustrate the algorithm with examples in single-channel source separation (two speakers).
